Computerized Corneal Topography
It is a computerized analysis of the surface of the cornea, measures its curvature and reports on individual characteristics and irregularities. As a diagnostic method, it is universal, but in patients with refractive surgery it is specific to the Laser system used in the Clinic, because it provides the Laser with the information it requires to perform a personalized ablation. To do this it is necessary to suspend the use of soft contact lenses for 2-3-days and for 8 to 15 days in permeable gas lenses.
Corneal Topography with Slit
It makes the computerized analysis of the optical surfaces of the eyeball – Cornea (anterior and posterior surface) – Corneal thickness – Corneal diameter and Densitometry; Anterior Chamber and Angle; Anterior surface and lens densitometry. It is a universal diagnostic method. It is used for diagnosis, prognosis and evaluation of the Anterior Segment of the eyeball. It lasts for 5 minutes and to do so it is necessary to suspend the use of soft contact lenses for 2-3-days and for 8 to 15 days in permeable gas lenses.
