Federico Serrano Grand Medal awarded to Dr. Alberto Díaz Díaz
During the IX Oculoplastic Congress, recently held in Bucaramanga, Dr. Serrano Guerra presented the Federico Serrano Grand Medal to Dr. Alberto Díaz Díaz. The presence of numerous young specialists and the admission request of 13 new ophthalmologists to the society are clear signs that the legacy continues. The Federico Serrano Grand Medal represents a Legacy of Excellence in Oculoplastics. This recognition honors not only the scientific career of each awardee, but also their ethical, academic, and human commitment to Colombian ophthalmology.
