This exam is taken with a Zeiss FF 450 plus IRu retinal camera. It is a photographic record taken from the fundus of the eye, necessary to document pathologies of the posterior segment of the retina, macula (central part of the retina) and optic nerve. They are useful for monitoring diseases over time, especially diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, nevus, glaucoma, among many other diagnoses, allowing a graphic record of the evolution of the pathology and its way to have comparative charts that correspond exactly to reality.
