It is to take the axial length of the eye through the use of an optical bed without contact: immersion or by contact. Provides data such as corneal curvature, corneal diameter, depth of the anterior chamber. It is essential for calculating the power of intraocular lenses; or in case of follow-up of pathology such as myopia, orbitopathy due to thyroid disease and some other processes.
We have state-of-the-art equipment, such as the IOL Master 700 from Zeiss, which allows fast and exact measurements, even in patients with previous visual pathology.
Exam taking times:
Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Delivery of results:
Results will be available 3-5 business days after the exam is taken.
