This exam is performed with SIRIUS, equipment designed for it. Images of the meibomian glands are captured using infrared light. Through them we can observe their morphology, number and whether or not there is atrophy of the same, which is very relevant to give the appropriate treatment in cases of blepharitis, dry eye and discomfort of the ocular surface.

Exam taking times:

Monday to Thursday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm Friday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Delivery of results:

Results will be available 3-5 business days after the exam is taken.
